ABOUT ABOUT

Harestock is an annual three-day music festival that raises money for deserving causes in the Bryan/College Station area.

Harestock started in 2008. Ben Morris and the Great American Boxcar Chorus decided to host a day of music and friends. What started as a modest endeavor quickly turned into an exciting event.

Fast-forward to present days and you will see that Harestock has quickly grown into one of Texas' most rapidly-growing and anticipated premiere festivals. Over 100 artists have graced the Harestock stages. Every year promises new and exciting additions from the year before!

In 2009, Harestock changed formats and was billed as a charity benefit. Harestock is a 100%, non-profit event. Since 2009, over $10,000.00 have been donated to very deserving causes including Ready For Texas Relief Fund, Twin City Mission - Youth & Family Services, BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse), Texas Tunes For Troops, God's Little Creatures Animal Rescue, Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and The Great American Boxcar Charity. Also, in 2010, Harestock introduced a coat, blanket, and canned food drive to be donated to local shelters and food banks. These drives were a huge success that have become a continuing fixture for all Harestocks!

The goals of Harestock are simple. 1) To raise as much money for very deserving causes. 2) To promote amazing talent and original music.

This year, Harestock has chosen some very deserving causes to help support:

Foster Connecction of Texas
btho MS
The Great American Boxcar Charity

At Harestock, The music takes center stage (whichever stage that may be!) Over the years, Harestock boasted over 14 hrs of music, on 3 stages, including 35 artists and bands; all in one day! Such Harestock artists in the past have included Adam Carroll, Owen Temple, Kent Finlay, Kevin Higgins, Barbara Malteze, Rodney Parker, Johnny Falstaff, Folk Family Revival, Drew Kennedy, Stephanie Briggs, Little Brave, Danny Malone, Selfless Season, Mark Jungers, Big John Mills, John Evans Band, Sideshow Tramps, Mike Ethan Messick, Andrea Marie, Slow Rollin Lows, Luke Adair, Tres Womack, Granger Smith, Mary Charlotte, Rodney Parker, Mark David Manders...The list goes on and on! The most amazing part is that these artists continue to play Harestock free of charge. Harestock artists donate their time and music for our cause. They are truly outstanding people!

Camping will be available the entire weekend. Sites are priced per person and are first come, first served as available. Camping is available through Sunday.

Official T-shirts, food, booths, attractions, raffles, silent auction, and more will be on site all weekend long.

Make plans now to be in College Station on August 16-18, 2013! It will be an event you will not want to miss!
